If you have not watched the latest episode of ALL AMERICAN, which aired November 18th, you may need to stop reading due to some major spoilers. With that being said, let's talk about Corey. We now understand why he took off the way he did. The poor guy has cancer! That's right, he's dying! Well, hopefully he is not. But right now we know that he does not need to be away from his family. He needs to be around the people that loves him.
Next week, thanks to the press release, we do know that Spencer (Daniel Ezra), Grace (Karimah Westbrook), Dillon (Jalyn Hall) and Darnell (guest star Abraham D. Juste) reeling from the news about why Corey (guest star Chad Coleman) may have left, they set out on a mission to find him.
Luckily it does sound like they will find him. As the press release continues, after locating Corey and trying to convince him to go home with them, the weekend turns out to be just what everyone needed.
I don't know what that might sound like to you, but that does put some stress off my shoulders.
As for other events taking place in the episode, in an effort to keep fighting for the family to be whole again, Billy (Taye Diggs) arranges for the family to meet with a family therapist and possibly help decide on the next step for them. During the session, the therapist gives Jordan (Michael Evans Behling) and Olivia (Samantha Logan) a separate assignment, which helps them learn more about each other than either knew.
